Very cool, indeed! My dad collects and restores these (American versions). What struck me was how many of them had mechanically operated intake valves, compared to how common atmospheric intake valves are on domestic one-lungers. I loved the one at 2:54 that apparently has both valves operated by a single cam & pushrod, with the exhaust operated conventionally via a rocker arm when the pushrod moves forward, and the intake operated by a non-rocking “rocker” arm that is attached directly to the pushrod, opening when the pushrod moves backward. Must be a spectacular cam profile!
